Camp Aspire is a camp for children ages 7-16 with Type-1 diabetes run by the American Diabetes Association. As a Counselor my responsibilities include testing blood sugars, administering proper food proportions, counting carbs, teaching proper diabetes management, all while encouraging campers to participate in camp activities such as swimming, fishing, and climbing the rock wall. Summer 2009 - Present As a Counselor I work with children and adults ages 7-21 who have mental or physical disabilities. Some of my responsibilities include basic personal care of campers who are unable to perform it unassisted (such as bathing and feeding). I also help to provide a safe and fun environment for campers to try new experiences that they may not have to ability to do at home (such as climbing the rock wall). 2010 - Present

Stage Management I have stage managed eight (8) theatrical shows which included managing 3-20 actors and crew members through 3+ hour rehearsals 5+ days a week as well as 2-4 hour workdays building sets, lighting, and set strike. I have assistant stage-managed eight (8) shows through high school and college (2006present) which include 3+ hour rehearsals 5+ days a week and 2-4 hour workdays building sets (See Theatrical Assistant). Technical Assistant, Crewmember August 2010-Present I work in the shop building sets for main-stage and showcase productions put on by the department of theatre and dance throughout the school year. My responsibilities also include hanging lights for these same productions, and tearing down the sets after the run is over. Performance Services Crew Spring Semester 2011 I worked as a basic crewmember for the Weis center of performing arts, where I set up the performance space for traveling shows and on campus speakers.

Summer 2009 I had to become proficient in glass making techniques, so I could explain them to guests of the museum. I also needed to be familiar with all of the galleries, so that I could give tours, and answer questions.
