JackCooperwasthefirstinradiotobeadiscjockeywhenblackswerentinradio.Also,hecoinedfly intothebuttermilk,meaningthattheprogrammingattractedacertainaudiencewhichwasAfrican Americans.Hispioneeringofblackradiocameatatimeduringthegreatdepressionaswellasafter WorldWarII,andduringthetimeofthecivilrightsmovement.Thattimeperiodinfluencedhisradio programSearchforMissingPersons,whichwasthefirstpublicserviceprogramthatreunited displacedfamiliesthatemigratedfromthesouthtothenorth. 4.PROCESS
