Objective: To know more about the term Art installation. To be able to explain the term.

Procedure: 1. Fill the rubric. 2. Do some research. 3. Explain the results with my own words. 4. Write a conclusion.

Results: Installation art id a new technique to portray things, specially objects within spaces. By the beginning of the year of 1970 was the first documented work of this kind of art. Nevertheless some artists like Marcel Duchamp are considered to be one of the precursors in this new way of depicting art and one of his work, The fountain is form years ago, specifically 1917. One of the characteristics is to change the perspective of the viewer, and its own way of appreciating the art. Comparing a sculpture form this art and a sculpture form the past, the difference is that a new one has to do whit the arrangement it is given, and how it change the viewers experience. In the past, this figures represented a lot by itself, even though they were also to decorate and bound this to architecture, for example. The viewer is the most important part of this new art, it is necessary to create a new understanding of art. As many types of art, they evolve, transforming into new ways, and sometimes new names. The figures used in the beginning in this new art, then painting floors and ceilings had a major impact. Today the interior design is a new way of watching the installation art.
