Thefarmerswereinitiallyhappytocontribute,butitwasntlongbeforethefarmersrealizedtheKingwas demandingfarmorethantheycouldhandle.Manyfarmersstartedtohidegrainssotheycanfeedtheirown family.TheKingsawthisasgreattreasonandcalleduponhismostloyalfollowerstosnuffoutthetraitors, atragiceraofparanoiaanddarknessfollowed. Hungerisanattempttocaptureamomentinthatera.

Setup
TaketheKingoutoftherolecards.Randomlyremovecardsfromtheroledeckuntilthenumberofrole cards+theKingequalstothenumberofplayers.Theremovedcardsarenotrevealed,thisisdonesothat nooneknowshowmanyFollowersareinplay. ShuffletheKingbackintotherolecards.Eachplayerreceivesarolecard. TheKingrevealshimorherself,allotherplayerskeepstheiridentityhiddenuntilendofthegame. Shufflethegrainandaccusationdecks,eachplayerdraws7graincardsand3accusationcards.

Gameplay
1.Playerswilldrawanaccusationcardifheorshehaslessthan3accusationcards. 2.Playerselectsagraincardtokeep,placeitfacedown. Keepthepickedgraincardsintheorderpicked,donotshufflethemoutoforder TheKingandhisFollowerscanonlypicksurplusgrainiftherearenoregulargraincardsleft. 3.Discussion,thenallplayersotherthantheKingmayselectanaccusationcardandplaceitfacedown 4.Accusationcardsarerevealed,sortouttheaccusedplayers(SeeAccusationsectionbelow) 5.Kingusehisaccusationcardstoinvestigateaccusedplayers.(SeeInvestigationsectionbelow) 6.Playerspasstheremaininggraincardstothenextplayer. Steps1through6arerepeated5times. Playersshouldfeelfreetolieabouttheirroles,formalliances,orbrokerdealsamongstthemselves.

Aftertheaccusedplayersareidentified,theKingwillhavethechancetoinvestigatetheaccusedplayers graincardstoseeiftheyarehidinganysurplusgraincards.TheKingdoesthisbyfirstplayingan accusationcardfromhishand.Everyaccusationcardhasanumberontheupperleftcornerofthecard,this determineshowmanygraincardstheKingcanflipovertocheck. TheKingthenchoosesanaccusedplayersgraincardandflipitover.TheKingcannotpickacard belongingtoaplayerwhomwasnotaccused.Iftheflippedcardisasurplusgraincard,thatfarmeris eliminatedfromthegame.AllsurpluscardsinthatplayershandorpossessionareassignedtotheKings collection.
