The Florida Department of Environmental Protection, in partnership with The Florida Gulf Coast University Small Business Development Center are happy to invite you to be part to our second annual Earth Day program: “Economic Growth and Business” at FGCU on April 17, 2013. The program will have two panel discussion groups: 1st Panel, Government Agencies discussing local, state and federal environmental rules, statues, directives, etc that or either helping or hindering smart growth. Followed by a Q&A SWFl International Airport Collier County Government Big Cypress WMD Lee County Government 2nd Panel, Private Sector Business - discussion of what local, state and federal environmental rules, statues, directives, etc that either help or hinder your company’s growth. What are some “Dumb” rules. Followed by a Q&A Garden St. Recycling Stafford Engineering Green Ground Effects Buckingham Farms HSA Engineering Jon Iglehart, Director South District of the Department will MC the event. There will be several display venues by government and non profits available for attendees to visit before, during breaks, and after the panel discussions are over.
