ADVANCED COMMAND IN CREO

A Trajectory Rib
The part to which you add a trajectory rib includes pocket surfaces, as shown:

Pocket surfaces on a camera case You can select a flat surface reference or a datum plane as the sketching plane. In the following example, a datum plane is selected to define the top of the ribs:

The internal sketch consists of lines, splines, arcs, or curves. For an open loop, the entity endpoints do not have to lie on the pocket surfaces. They are trimmed or extended automatically. However, it is good practice to confine the sketch endpoints to inside the solid geometry. For a closed loop, the loop must lie within the pocket. The following is an example of sketched entities for a trajectory rib:

Trajectory sketch When you click OK to complete the sketch, the entities are extended or trimmed to meet the pockets surfaces, as shown below:

About the Warp Operations

To access the Warp tab, click Model Editing operations:

Warp. You can perform the following warp

Transforms, rotates, and scales geometry. Uses edges and corners of a marquee to change the shape of the geometry.

Reshapes the geometry by manipulating the defining points of a curve. The deformation can be linear or radial. Stretches the geometry along an axis. You can control the range and scale of the stretch. Bends the geometry along an axis. You can control the bend angle, the range of bend, pivot point, and the bend radius. Twists the geometry around an axis. You can control the angle of the twist and the range of the twisting effect. Sculpts the geometry using a mesh. Sculpt can be performed on one or both sides of the selected geometry.
