Woman convicted and fined

A second case was concluded on 6 July 2012 at Heidelberg before Mr. Parsons. This was a contested hearing in relation to two dogs seized by the RSPCA after the owner had failed to provide sufficient care or food for the dogs. She was charged with two counts of animal cruelty. Both charges were proven and the woman was convicted and placed on a two year undertaking conditional upon paying $500 to the RSPCA. She was also ordered to pay $6000 costs and disqualified from being the person in charge of any animal for five years
