Cinnamon Rolls 3/4c. Milk (and shortening?) 1/4c. Sugar 1tsp.salt 1/4c. Peanut oil (or butter?) 1pkg.

Yeast 1/4c. Warm water 1 egg beaten 3/4c. Sugar 3 1/4c. Sifted flour 1tsp. Cinnamon Scald milk. Stir in 1/4c.sugar,salt and oil. Cool to lukewarm. Dissolve yeast in warm water in large bowl. Stir in lukewarm milk mixture, egg and half of the flour. Beat until smooth. Stir in enough flour to make stiff dough. On floured board knead until smooth and elastic, about 8 10 minutes. Place in a greased bowl, turning to grease top. Let rise in warm place until doubled, about 1 hour. Combine 3/4c. Sugar, cinnamon and oil to make moist. Punch down dough, divide in half. Roll out. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar mixture. Roll up and cut each roll in 9 pieces. Put in greased muffin tins (or 9 sq. pan) and let rise. Bake at 375 for 10minutes. Check; bake until golden brown. Glaze with icing sugar glaze when cool. Banana Cake 1 1/2c. Sugar 2/3c. Shortening 2 eggs 3/4c. Sour milk 1c. Mashed banana 2c. Flour 1tsp. Vanilla 2tsp. Soda 1/4tsp. Salt Bake at 375 until toothpick comes out clean. 9 pan Double for 9 x 13 pan
