    de A young Czech aesthetician, who devotes himself to Dewey and American pragmatism , Jan Hlvka, will sum up the development of Deweys paedagogic thought from My Pedagogic Creed (1898), via Education and Democracy (1916) to Education and Experience (1938).

    STEFAN NEUBERT teaches at the Faculty of Human Sciences at the University of Cologne. He is co-director of the Cologne Dewey Center.
