Abul-Futuh Sayf ad-Dawla Buluggin ibn Ziri ruled from 973 to 983 and was succeeded by his son Abul-Fat'h al-Mansur ibn Buluggin who ruled from 983 to 995 while recognizing the authority of the Fatimid Caliphs in Egypt after the Fatimid capital moved there in 969.
