Felix) Parish Implementation Committee (IC) Meeting Minutes 4/7/2013 Attendees: St. Roch George Spears, Kathy Wroblewski, Nancy Oaks St. Francis Lisa DiCamillo, Steve Gayari, Elmer Dietzel, Alfredo Santos (sub) St. Felix Rosemary Creuger Fr. Robert Par, Fr. John Weis Meeting Minutes 1) Opening Prayer 2) Review of submitted names for our new parish First of all, the IC Committee wants to thank everyone for submitting the 76 names for our new parish. It took the committee over an hour to reduce down the names to three which will be submitted to Bishop Cistone prior to 4/19/2013. The final three names recommended by the IC Committee are listed in weighted order: 1) Our Lady of Perpetual Help 2) Our Lady of Good Counsel 3) Our Lady of Grace Bishop Cistone will make the final decision. 3) We discussed the Bishops selection of our new Parish Pastor. Father Robert Par will be our new Pastor. 4) We discussed Mass times and Liturgy. This issue was tabled as Father Rob and Father John need to discuss this item prior to our next meeting. 5) We discussed Religious Education. The Chair will request the present coordinators of Faith Formation in each parish to begin discussions on Options within our Cohort Options within our new parish boundaries

Pastoral Advisors:

This will prepare us to discuss the challenges and strengths we are anticipating. This meeting should precede the next meeting of the Implementation Committee so their thoughts can be shared at the IC meeting with them present. 6) The IC committee discussed new parish council member selections. Proposed members are to have 3 members from each of the old individual parishes. This issue was tabled due to the need for both Fathers to discuss this issue. 7) The IC Committee briefly discussed a new parish Finance Committee. Issue was tabled due to the need for both Fathers to discuss. 8) The next agenda and date for our next meetingon April 26th, 2013 6:00pm.
