NUCLEAR MALAYSIA PARTICIPATES IN MY BEAUTIFUL MALAYSIA DAY 3 Feb.

2013 Malaysian Nuclear Agency joined the nationwide My Beautiful Malaysia programme which kicked off simultaneously at 390 venues, joining thousands of youths in various activities aimed at getting more youths involved in charity. My Beautiful Malaysia programme was held in conjunction with the Year of Volunteerism 2013. In the programme coordinated by IM4U, the volunteers had the support of prominent leaders from the Cabinet and the various government agencies.

YBhg Dato Dr. Muhamad Lebai Juri, the Director General of Nuclear Malaysia was at Pantai Cahaya Negeri, Port Dickson to be part of the crowd of volunteers who joined the Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar, Dato Seri Utama Hj Mohamad bin Hj Hasan in tree planting and beach cleaning activities. The Deputy Director General for R & D programme, Dr. Muhd Noor Muhd Yunus joined the volunteers in the two-hour event in Putrajaya , organized by the Putrajaya Corporation. The Putrajaya programme involved clearing the area, talking to residents about the dangers of dengue mosquitoes and the importance of recycling. Meanwhile, Dr. Mohd Ashhar Hj Khalid, the Deputy Director General for Technical Programme, joined the the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak at Taman Medan, Petaling jaya. The Prime Minister helped lay bricks for the expansion of the At Taufiqiyyah surau and joined residents in painting the SM Taman Medan school and tree planting activity. The Senior Director for Technology Commercialisation and Planning, Dr .Zulkifli Mohamed Hashim was in Melaka for the event. He joined the Minister of Home Affairs, YB Dato Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussien and Melaka Ketua Menteri, Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam at the University Technical Melaka, in Batu Berendam. At the same time, the Senior Director for Management, Dr.Dahlan Hj Mohd was among the 10,000 volunteers in Taman Botani, Kuala Lumpur who carried out activities in cleaning up the area, repainting roadside landmarks and removing unauthorized bills and stickers.
