    To whom it may concern;

    I write in support of Punctums application for triennial funding. I have been following the development of Punctum as a hub for Live Art development in Australia since I first heard of their activities in 2007. Punctum has built a reputation nationally due to their commitment to innovative experimental practice of the highest quality. As a national leader in the innovative development of cultural practice, they create partnerships and organizational relationships thus generating unique opportunities for artists and audiences. The In-Habit research and cultural exchange programs as well as their Seedpod / Incubator residency are unique opportunities for Victorian and Australian artists rare opportunities locally, yet comparable to international programs. I personally know artists who have professionally benefitted and developed from their experiences undertaking these programs. Further, Punctum is dedicated to growing and sharing knowledge within the national Live Art sector. As co-director of artist run initiative EXIST in Brisbane, I have personally benefitted from Punctums expertise. Over the past twelve months in particular, Punctum Artistic Director, Jude Anderson, has provided invaluable support and advice in a mentoring capacity. Triennial funding will allow Punctum to strategically plan, develop partnerships and programs and essentially support artists in a more effective manner. I urge you to support Punctums application.
