Drama can also provide the means for connecting students emotions and cognition as it enables students to take risks with language.

It links thought and action

Teaching English as a foreign language inevitably involves a balance between receptive and productive skills; here drama can effectively deal with this . requirement.

Suitability

Suitable for year two and above. Children in young ages may do it with guidance.

Exploitability

It gives a context for listening and meaningful language production, forcing the learners to use their language resources and, thus, enhancing their linguistic abilities.

Interest

Drama has its ways to motivate and encourage participation. It also gives the children chance to explore themselves by trying out different characters. Whenever possible, try to inject moral values in any scence. We need also to give opportunities to the children to make connections between their understanding of the lesson theme and their personal experience.
