How I learned my Classroom Management

Observed and discussed with cooperating teachers. Researched multiple age appropriate strategies. Assessed and reflected upon own classroom management strategies Used the trial and error process while implementing new classroom strategies into student teaching classroom Remembered my favorite elementary teachers and what they did. Classroom management is my priority. I see my future classroom as a team. The students are to be accountable for others actions. I believe in leadership, and with leadership students will gain a tremendous amount of respect for one another. Students follow and abide by an incentive based classroom. The incentives have to stay consistent in order for students to maintain engagement. Money incentive using monopoly money. Students are rewarded for engagement and participating in classroom activities.

Observe and assess fellow professional teachers Continually to grow my professional development by attending classroom management seminars. Research and implement newly acquired strategies that are appropriate for my classroom. Adapt teaching style to students needs.
