Lim Kim San

He was born on 30 november 1916. He died 20 July 2006. He studied at Anglo Chinese School and Raffles College . His job was the singapore politician.

He held ministerial positions in various ministries from finance , education , defence to the enviroment. He was chairman of the council of presidential Advisors and had also chaired various boards such as PSA , SPH , MAS.

He really contributed a lot to singapore in the past few years. He is very capable in managing and arranging stuffs in singapore and took care of singapore.

Only under his guidance the relocation and reconstruction of the lost housing was completed in just over four years , and 1200 housing flats were made available to those who lost their homes in the fire.

He was the first to invent HDB and provide houses for the poor. The success of the housing project was considered by some stem mainly from the standardized architectural designs that were used.

He was known as an indispensable problem-solver who help many key ministries during his illustrious political career of 18 years. Although mr lims retired from politics in 1981, he continued to serve singapore in other capacities.
