Research Assistant to Dr. Peggy Zoccola 2012-present Ohio University Department of Psychology, Psychosocial Processes & Health Laboratory The on-going experiment studied the influence of cognitive processes such as rumination on physiological stress responses and sleep. Specific duties varied over time and include serving as an actor-facilitator, creating stress-response behaviors in subjects during a videotaped session, preparing and organizing study materials, assisting with physiological data collection, and extracting and analyzing statistical data. Research Assistant to Amy Borchardt (M.S.) 2011-2012 Ohio University Department of Psychology, Experimental Health Program The research project investigated the relationships between stress, health, and meditation. Responsibilities included administering surveys, gathering physiological data from participants, running the experiment, and organizing lab materials.
