    One day, Jesus received word that His friend, Lazarus, was seriously ill.

    A few days later, Jesus traveled to Lazarus town, where he was told Lazarus had been dead for four days.

    Martha told Jesus that her brother Lazarus had When Jesus saw Mary died. and Martha crying, he was very sad. He asked, Where did you put him? They said, Lord, come and see. Mary and Martha had hoped Jesus would get there in time to heal Lazarus.

    Although Jesus was very sad, he knew he could help. He walked over to Lazarus tomb and Jesus asked came some to men totomb. roll the away the stone. It was a cave with a large stone covering the entrance. He said, Move the stone away. Jesus then called in a loud voice, Lazarus, come out!

    Jesus prayed out loud and asked his father to show everyone that it was not too late.

    Lazarus rose back to life and walked out of his tomb!


    When the people saw what Jesus did, many of them believed in him.
