    WHY DID MY PARENTS NAME ME 'RAMISA'?

    My Mum and Dad named me 'Ramisa uddin' because, firstly, they found my name in a Islamic Name Book, And when they found the name 'Ramisa', they liked the meaning of it; 'White Rose'. (Also, they named me this, because they wanted to give me a unique name, not one that a bunch of other girls my age would have). Secondly 'Uddin' is my Dad's surname, and we take our surnames after our dads. ...And this is why my name is 'Ramisa Uddin'.
