Logotype Style Guide
Harmony type: shades The client wanted bright colors, so I chose shades of golden yellow for the logotype. Yellow seemed appropriate given MPHTCs mission of promoting public health and quality of life. Earlier versions of the logotype used more colors, but I decided to limit the number of colors because I wanted a simpler look that suggests a focused mission.
I wanted a heavy, solid-looking typeface that suggested stability and reliability. As an organization that is invested in public health, I felt that MPHTCs logotype should reflect stability but also hopefulness. I chose a bold, italic, sans-serif typeface to suggest both stability but also a forward-looking perspective.
