Man vs. Man The leading character struggles with his physical strength with another character or nature.

TYPES OF CONFLICT
Conflict is the struggle of opposing forces in a story. It is what creates the drama and action that moves the story from beginning to conclusion. Every story has conflict; without conflict, there is no story.

Man vs. Circumstances The leading character struggles with the circumstances of life.

Man vs. Self The leading character struggles with himself/herself; with his/her own soul, ideas of right or wrong, physical limitations, choices, etc.

Man vs. Society The leading character struggles against ideas, practices, or customs of other people.
