Review the central truth, the memory verse, prayer and confessions, and read the Bible story with your child each day. As this is done, let your child color in or put a sticker on the power outlet located on the back of the devotional. At the end of the week please sign as proof of completion and return to the PowerSource Information Center. Children who complete 3 weeks Power Cords in a month will have their picture posted in the foyer of Power Source and their name in the newsletter.

God wants us to rejoice in Him even when we dont feel like it.

Rejoice in the Lord, always. . . Philippians 4:4

Some people didnt like what Paul and Silas had been teaching about Jesus. They had Paul and Silas thrown in jail. About midnight, Paul and Silas were praying and singing praises to God. Suddenly there was an earthquake. The prison doors flew open and the prisoners chains fell off. Paul and Silas told the jailer not to be afraid. Now they were able to tell the jailer and his family about Gods love. Acts 16:16-34

Father God, What a good God you are! Thank you for your love and joy. Thank you for my parents, teachers, friends and Apostles Ron and Hope. Protect them and help them to trust in You. Forgive me when I make bad choices. Thank you for teaching me to obey my parents so things will go well with me and I will live a long life on the earth. Help me to tell others about You and how great Your love is! Thank you that because of Jesus, I am healed and whole. In Jesus Name, Amen

John 14:1 Jesus also said, Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. Nehemiah 8:10 The joy of the Lord is my strength.
