Course Content
The syllabus is divided into 3 units, (1) Management of International Health and Safety; (2) Control of International Workplace Hazards; and (3) International Health and Safety Practical Application. Each of the first two units is further divided into a number of elements. There are 16 elements which cover a range of workplace hazards and methods of control and are as follows: 1. Foundations in health and safety 2. Policy 3. Organizing for health and safety 4. Promoting a positive health and safety culture 5. Risk assessment 6. Principles of control 7. Monitoring, review and audit

The third unit which is the International Health and Safety Practical Application is aimed at assessing a candidates ability to complete successfully two activities and they are as follo ws: a) Safety Workplace Inspection b) Report Writing

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: All cancellations must be in writing and cancellation fees shall apply: cancellations made 4 weeks prior to the course start date shall be charged RM160.00 as administration fee; 50% of the total fees for cancellations made 2 to 3 weeks before the start of the course; 100% of the total fees if less than 2 weeks before the course start date. TWI reserves the right to cancel the event in case of insufficient registration or illness of lecturers. CONSIST will ensure maximum possible notice is given to the attendees and reserves the right to substitute lecturers and modify the course details as required.
