NAME: Tincu Diana CLASS: 10 C OBJECT: ENGLISH TIME: 50 minutes NUMBER OF STUDENTS: 30 LESSON TOPIC: MODERN PEOPLES FEELINGS

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Speaking- productive skill Reading- receptive skill Writing- productive skill Listening- receptive skill GENERAL AIMS: to arouse the pupils interest in the subject of the new lesson to improve their knowledge to help students improve their speaking to develop communication during class to check comprehension to make students use their previous knowledge to stimulate students imagination and creativity SPECIFIC AIMS: - by the end of the lesson: students will be able to express, characterize and analyze human feelings students will revise in a funny and pleasant way the previous lessons students should perceive the oral and written message given by the teacher TEACHING TECHNIQUES: Games Conversation Questions and answers ORGANIZATION OF THE CLASS: AIDS: dictionaries and blackboard 1..Activity One- Conversation Warm-up ( 3 minutes) - the teacher greets the pupils 1 lockstep, group- work, individual work

the pupils greet the teacher organization of the class (the attendance of the pupils)

Activity Two- ( 5 minutes) -Speaking, Listening, Writing - individual work: teacher asks students to write their present feelings - students name feelings aloud -teacher chooses a set of feelings : LOVE, HATE, GREED, FEAR, JOY 3. Activity Three- Speaking, Writing, Reading group work: students receive the name of a specific feeling and work with it, according to the method of the cube; they deal with the human feeling by answering a set of questions:

a. How does it look like? (describe the feeling) b. Compare it with other feelingswhat is it similar with, and makes it unique? (compare with other feelings) c. What makes you think of? (associate it with something, e.g. an image) d. What is it made of? (analyze) e. How can you use it? In what situations? (apply your knowledge) f. Is it good or bad? Why? (argument your knowledge) 4. Activity four- Speaking -teacher checks Students work - Students take notes about the feelings described by the other groups 5. Giving homework -teacher asks students to create a ppt. presentation on the feeling described by their group, add music and pictures and examples with idioms including the feeling and suggest ways to embetter (in case of a negative feeling).
