About the Test


Every school in the state of California take the CST in the end of the school year The test puts in your class that you get next year The score that are possible

How Ive prepared for the CST


I studied all the subjects Take notes during class and study them Pay attention and listen to directions

How SFMS teachers have prepared me for the CST


They have helped us study They gave us worksheets to study in They give us H.W to review in Tell us to sleep well

Test Taking Tips: The Night and Morning Before


We have to sleep early Study at least a half an hour Eat breakfast in the morning so we can concentrate the next day

Test Taking Tips: During the Test


Read the question really carefully Eliminate the wrong answers Reread the passage if needed Concentrate and do our best

Math Tips
You can draw a multiplication chart during the test You can take a break during the test We would have to sleep early

English Tips
You can reread the passage if you dont understand it You can use a highlighter or under line with a pencil the important things in the passage Or you can practice reading at home

Bar Graphs
Bar graphs convert the information in a chart into separate bars or columns. Some graphs list numbers along one edge and places, dates, people, or things along another edge. Always try to determine the relationship between the columns in a graph or chart. You graph the number of people that would stay in one group To help you in graphs you could do it in different colors

Changing Percents, Decimals, and Fractions


A fraction whose denominator is 100 is called a percent. The word percent means hundredths Move the decimal point two places to the right.
