technical competence and the ability to build relationships with students and colleagues. In my class she demonstrated the dispositions that it takes to be a successful teacher. She was a leader when it was necessary to lead and a team member when it was necessary to function effectively to get important things finished. She displayed both content expertise and process expertise. Her work was always done on time and was always of the highest quality. She never hesitated when it was necessary to step up and help others.
Additional Comments: As a former school administrator, Maggie Brownell is the kind of teacher I would
