Cross-curricular elements / Educational emphases: Multiple intelligences, kinaesthetic. Teaching aids: PowerPoint slides of lyric of Where is Thumbkin? song, What Do I do? song and exercise books. Steps: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. Teacher sing Where is Thumbkin? song to familiarize the pupils with it. Teacher says one line of What Do I Do? song at a time and asks pupils to repeat after the teacher. Teacher says the line again with actions. Pupils repeat the action song several times with actions. In groups, pupils replace the jobs in the song with other jobs. In groups, pupils practice the song with suitable action. In groups, pupils perform the song created with suitable actions.
