    Proof that I was one of the first, and few Naturalist Guides in the Galapagos Archipelago. My time of service is presented in the document.. A much larger group from around the world were taught by the best scientists, also from around the world. 60 starated the class and when we finished the course by taking a three day, written examination, only 4 of us were certified. Dr. Craig McFarland was the director of the Charles Darwin Research Ststion on the island of Santa Cruz. He was famous for his work with the Galapagos Tortus. I had the honor of working with Fritz Trilmuch from Max Plank Institute in Germany on the 'pox' problem that desimated thousands of Sea Lions throughout the archipelago. It was determined that the pox was natural and therefore had to be allowed to run it's course through the population. Failing health forced me to vacate my post, otherwise I think I would still be down there. It was the most honored and exciting period in my life...well, almost the 'most hoonored and exciting' as I have to place the founding of PCS Centers next to the Galapagos experience. I can safely say that very few people get 1 chance, in a lifetime, to achieve what I have done, but even fewer can say that they have had 2 such experiences and I believe that I am about to advance into the 3rd such experience when I travel to our PCS Edventure programs in Saudi Arabia and Pakistan in a few weeks...More to come...
