    The fourth grade students have been working hard in their classes. In reading, they have finished their book and will begin the sixth grade book to prepare for next year. In social studies, they have learned about the Northeast region through quizzes on states and maps, and covered geography topics in preparation for their final project. They will soon cover the history of the Independence War. In Spanish, students have completed their fifth grade reading book and will now work from the sixth grade book while practicing complex verb tenses.

    Dear parents

    The fourth graders have been working hard on:

    Lectura
    We have already done with our reading number twenty-eight. We have done with: Ecologa para los nios, El armadillo de Amarillo and Visitantes del espacio.

    Social studies
    We have done a lot of quizzes about the Northeast region: calling the states and locating them in a map. We have covered all the geography contents: landscape, natural resources and economy. We are doing our final project, and next week we will include the history piece of this lesson, stressing on Independence War.

    We these four lessons, we have finished our 5th grade Lectura book. During the next weeks, we will work on the 6th grade book, to be more ready for next coming year. We are working on complex verb tenses of past, and students are encourage to write sentences using the correct form for each subject. Every Friday we have a test of the weekly reading.
