NRCEP Announcement of CPD Requirement For Competent Persons
the objective of maintaining status of professionalism of the competent persons, the Department of Environment, through EiMAS will implement the CPD requirement starting 2014. Throughout 2013, the competent persons are required to accumulate at a minimum, 50 CPD hours to be eligible for maintaining their names in the Registry of Certified Environmental Professionals (NRCEP) in 2014. The activities which will earn CPD hours and the CPD hour value for the activities are shown in Table 1. Table 1: Various learning/ training activities and their CPD hour values
