Install the application. Insert floppy disk and run Rockwell.Super.Key.exe to create the license disk. You need to have this floppy inserted every time you start RSLogix. NOTE: For best performance run Rockwell software on WindowsXP 32bit SP2 ONLY. Rockwell software is very buggy and it conflicts with its own software so always install the highest version of Rockwell software you need. If you are upgrading to a newer version always uninstall the lower versions. Never activate when prompted at the end of installation. The supplied supper disk is not FactoryTalk activator so there is no need to install or use FactoryTalk Activation. Most of software listed above can be activated by transferring (rsmove) licenses from disk A (floppy) to a local hard drive. RSNetworks is an exception. To run RSNetworks you must have a floppy disk. If you don't have a floppy drive use virtual floppy drive (VFD) instead. http://chitchat.at.infoseek.co.jp/vmware/vfd.html Simply start the VFD go to DRIVER tab click INSTALL and then clik START, go to DRIVE0 tab click CHANGE and select A as your drive letter, click OPEN/CREATE, click CREATE in the new window (leave Image File space empty) , run provided Rockwell.Super.Key.exe to create the license disk ... and you are ready to go. After running Rockwell.Super.Key.exe click SAVE to save just created virtual disk to an image file (use any name and extension). Next time you start VFD you don't have to go through all the steps just load the image file you have created.
