Lemurs and other animals like elephants, zebras, giraffes, and chimpanzees in Africa are endangered due to poaching, diseases, and deforestation. These threats have led to suffering among African animals who cannot advocate for themselves. While the US government's priorities may not currently include helping African wildlife due to economic and military issues, individuals can take action by raising awareness in their communities, fundraising, and writing letters to politicians. Small efforts can make a difference for the endangered species of Africa.
