Mr. Asim employee # 7691 is responsible to look after shipping department and his line Manger verbally instructed him to look after reclaiming department for a week. While that period procurer of steel loaded copper and aluminium in the truck under the steel scrap. Security department caught him outside the factory.

Mr.Asim, It has been reported against you that on April 07, 2013, while looking after the reclaiming department as per your line managers instruction. At about 23:30 hours, procurer of steel loaded copper and aluminium in the truck under the steel scrap and Security department caught him outside the factory. Due to this negligence under your command and control a material loss amounting to Rs. 30,000/- to 35,000/- approximately took place. It is revealed from the above facts that this loss occurred due to your willful gross negligence, inefficiency on your duty and poor control. You are fully responsible for this loss being the Shift In-charge. You have been found guilty of non-compliance of orders of your senior officer and your act tantamount to gross misconduct under the West Pakistan Industrial and Commercial Employment (Standing Orders) Ordinance, 1968. Under Section 15, clause A (d) and 3(b) which reads as follows:

A(d) inefficient, dilatory, careless or wasteful working; 3 (b) theft, fraud, or dishonesty in connection with the employers business or property;

You are therefore, directed in your own interest, to submit your explanation in writing within seven days of receipt of this notice as to why severe disciplinary action should not be taken against you. In case you fail to submit your reply within the stipulated period, it will be assumed that you have nothing to explain/produce in your defence and further action will be taken against you according to the law.
