Limitations Of Sight There is a blind spot in the eye due to the optic nerve passing through a part of photoreceptors lining inside the eye creating a small receptor-less patch where it is impossible to detect light. You cannot see things that are really far like planets and other countries. You cannot see tiny things like microorganisms . People who are long-sighted cannot see near clearly People who are short-sighted cannot see far clearly Astigmatism which causes people unable to see things clearly from certain angles Limitations of Hearing Cannot hear soft sounds Loud sounds will damage the ear People who have a damaged ear cannot hear well

Contact lens-Place it on your eye -Was invented by Thomas Young 1801 -It was known at that time as a glass spherical capsule with animal jelly

Spectacles-Worn in front of your eyes -Was invented in the 5th century Telescope-Place your eye in front of the lens -Was invented by Hans Lippershey ,Zacharias Janssen and Jacob Metius in 1608 Microscope-Place your eyes at the lenses -Was invented by Giovanni Faber ,Zacharias Janssen and Hans Lippershay in 1590

Hearing aid-Place it in your ear -Was invented in the 17th century

Microphone-Place it in front of your mouth -Was invented in 1876 by Emile Berliner,used as a telephone voice transmitter at that time

Loudspeaker-Place it in front of your mouth -Was first invented in 1877 in German by Ernst Siemens on Dec. 14, 1877. Englishmen, Sir Oliver Lodge received the second patent for a loudspeaker on April 27, 1898
