Local 10-Year-Old Records Hole-in-One at U.S. Kids Golf Tournament Miamis Ernesto Perabeles aces 115-yard hole at Biltmore Golf Course
MIAMI, Florida Ernesto Perabeles of Miami recorded the third known hole-in-one in the history of the U.S. Kids Golf Miami Local Tour, striking a 6-iron straight onto the green and into the cup. Perabeles stepped to the eighth tee at Biltmore Golf Course on Tuesday June, 12 originally intending to use his 5-iron, but his caddie Tanya suggested a 6-iron. This turned out to be a great choice, as his ball stopped just short of the hole and then fell into the cup. Ernesto did not even realize it until he got to the green. I got to the green and thought my ball was missing, said Ernesto I went to check and there it was! Perabeles finished two shots off the lead and is currently tied for sixth in his age group in the Miami Local Tour. The other town holes-in-one in the Miami Local Tour were recorded by Sebastian Barcia in 2009 and Jason Nelms in 2010.
