To Do Every Shift 1. Open the back room (with the off-color key on the red keychain). 2.

Check the Board. Put out carts for the next hour. Put away any carts not needed in the next two hours (or rest of the day). 3. If the phone is flashing, check voicemail. (Refer to Phone Information Sheet) 4. Monday Morning: Change voicemail to Weekday Greeting. 5. Log into a computer. 6. Open RT (support.wlc.edu) and log in. 7. Open your WLC email and check for Technology emails. 8. Read all tickets. Add comments. Contact people by phone and/or email. Write down any questions you have to ask another worker. 9. Resolve tickets. Ask how to solve the issue. Solve the issue. Reply to the requestor or add a comment with the exact solution and change the status to Resolved. 10. Read through training documents or technology books on the shelf in the back room. Closing Shift To Dos After doing steps 1 10: 11. Check that the Library Cart is: In L038. Plugged in. Turned on. All laptops and chargers are there. (Number of laptops is on the cart.) Laptops plugged into cart. Key is in the drawer in Technology. 12. Check that all three Generac Hall carts are: In Generac Hall storage room. Plugged in. Turned on. All laptops and chargers are there. Laptops plugged into cart. Three keys are in the drawer in Technology. Friday Close To Dos After doing steps 1 12: 13. Update the board for the coming week. Erase temporary requests on the board schedule. Write the correct dates on the board schedule. Copy temporary requests onto the board schedule. Put a green check mark next to the temporary requests that have been transferred. Double-check the semester requests.
