Week beginning 7th January During this first week I did a lot of research into different music magazines. This research consisted of looking at how different magazines target their audiences. I then went onto creating a Blogger account. This was necessary as all my coursework has to be submitted onto the blog. It will be used to show my magazine developing. I have started research and analyse different magazine covers and explaining why they might have used colours, backgrounds and images to target their audience. I hope that by doing this I can make my own magazine design look professional. I have now created an account on Survey Monkey to produce a questionnaire that will be answered by my peers in class. The answers I gather from my questionnaire will help me to produce my final magazine as it will tell me what people look for in a magazine to make it interesting. I have now started to make a flat plan of the front cover of my magazine. I will then do the same with the contents page and double page spread. This plan will help me when it comes to creating my magazine on Photoshop. I have now finished my designs I have started to create the base of my magazine using Photoshop starting with the front cover. I have now finished the production of my magazine Off Beat front cover. I am starting to focus more on my double page spread as this is the biggest piece of work. After finishing my double page spread I have started on my contents page. I have also started to upload work onto Blogger and making sure my blog looks presentable. I have started to look back over work I have done on my Blog to make sure there are no spelling mistakes and that everything makes sense. I have now finished my magazine and now moving onto the evaluation.
