    Hometown: Harrison, Michigan Alma Mater: University of Missouri, Ph.D. Emphasis Areas: All types of interpersonal/relational topics, Communication of Humor, Emotion and Cognition, Social Issues and communication. Short Statement: Two things stand out about our department: the incredible support of our Communication Studies profession & the outstanding work ethic. Our department loves what they do & it shows! Faculty and grad students are quite diverse in their areas, but I really appreciate being part of such a productive department.
