Grade 4 Overview
Sunday 05/05/2013 Thursday 09/05/ 2013.
Instructional Writing we are taking our instructional writing practice
to the next step and using the bullet points we have made and
putting them into full sentence form. We will be looking for full
sentences and having students changing information into proper
sentence form.
We are starting a new unit: Perimeter and Area. We will be using the
skills we have learned over the year to determine how to find the
perimeter of a shape as well as the area. A lot of this will be new for
the students, but they will be using knowledge they already have.

Unit of Inquiry

Finihsing our unit on Authority. The students will be organizing their own
companies and identifying the levels of authority within them. They may we
working on these at home. We are giving the students the freedom to
choose their own methods of presentations. We are hoping for some
creative projects.
