LinkedIn is the worlds largest professional network with over 80 million members and growing rapidly. LinkedIn connects you to your trusted contacts and helps you exchange knowledge, ideas, and opportunities with a broader network of professionals. The two statements that the question has asked to be analyzed are available on the website and users who are signing up for an account are requested to read and accept both the statements. This is because these statements serve as a contract between LinkedIn Developers and the users. The two statements on the LinkedIn website become binding contracts between the developers of the site and its signed up users as soon as the users begin using the features of the site and start availing its services. Should a user happen to make use of information that they have available as signed up users of LinkedIn, LinkedIn would have the right to file a claim against the user for breach of contract. This is because no user can use information available to them of other users for their own benefit, in terms where the user may sale or reveal the information to the unrelated party. Users of LinkedIn have the right to revoke their consent of the contracts by closing their account. However, it is stated in the agreement that would not a retroactive act, as any breach of contract that took place before the account was closed would make the parties still liable towards each other and a claim can be filed under the specific jurisdiction.
