As Governor Dayton and legislative leaders meet to set budget targets, hundreds of seniors, caregivers, families and supporters will rally at the Capitol Rotunda as a show of support for making seniors and their caregivers a real priority THIS SESSION. They will call on Governor Dayton and the Minnesota Legislature to increase long term care funding above what has been proposed to make sure older adult services are available for elderly Minnesotans and the hardworking, underpaid people who take care of them.
The Caregivers Count rally is sponsored by the Long Term Care Imperative, AARP, AFSCME Council 5, UFCW and SEIU Healthcare Minnesota.
