Dear Parents, Report cards and Krannert field trip permission slips are due as soon as possible. The field trip costs $4.00 so please enclose that amount with the slip. April book orders are due Monday, April 8th. We are working on our Peter Rabbit play in school, but please continue helping your child memorize their lines and say them smoothly by practicing at home each day. They need to speak slowly and clearly. Thank you for your help with this. I had a sign-up sheet for helpers at the beginning of the year. I will send out reminders for what you have signed up for and what I still need help with. This is an easy way to get FAITH hours. Remember that each family is required to do 20 hours a year. Check the office binder to see if you are still in need of hours before the end of the year. Beginning this week PE class will be held outside with weather permitting. Since PE is at 9:00 AM please make sure students have a warm jacket to wear. A Buggy Book Report will be coming home on Monday. Have your child read to you, with your help, a book that is interesting to them. After, guide them to fill out the book report. Since there are several questions to answer, you may want to read the book several times, throughout the two weeks, and answer one question each time. This will break up the amount of writing you and your child have to do in one sitting. Supporting your child in this process could be helping them to gather their thoughts, sounding out words together, or dictating their responses. In addition, have your child pick their two favorite bugs, color them, and write their name in one and the name of the book in the other. Cut these out and attach to the report to be displayed in our classroom. Please complete this at home with your child and return to school by Friday, April 19th. Miss Fiddick is still in her complete take over in the classroom for two more weeks. Please continue to address any questions or concerns to her during this time if possible. You may contact me if necessary. We have a few field trips coming up in April. Please watch for permission slips to come home soon. Return them with the fee as soon as possible.

God's Blessings, Miss Fiddick and Mrs. Tappendorf
