Rotation and revolution affect both
day and night and the season on
Earth
 At the equator, the Earth rotates at
a speed of about 1600 kilometers per
hour.
The Earth axis is tilted at an angle of
23½°

Takes Earth about 24 hours to rotate
once on its axis

As earth rotates: half faces sun other
face darkness-keeps rotating the half in
sun and now faces darkness and vice
