What Do I Believe About Education?

I believe
Differentiation in instruction is necessary because all students learn differently and at different rates. Effective classroom management comes from quality routines and procedures implemented on the first day of school. Quality assessments provide the most accurate data concerning student achievement. Grades are a measurement of achievement, and do not reflect participation. Teachers should strive to be servant leaders, who model integrity and promote lifelong learning.

How Will I Implement my Beliefs?

I will Continually come up with new instructional strategies to facilitate learning in exciting ways! Plan routines and procedures before school starts and implement them from day one. Design and construct various assessments from standards and learning targets assigned to the students. Record an Achievement grade based on students data from assessments and record a Work Habits grade consisting of participation, attendance, and late work. Hold myself accountable and in check to the standards I hold my students too. I will listen to their opinion and demonstrate a passion in my content area at all times.
