Review the central truth, the memory verse, prayer and confessions, and read the Bible story with your child each day. As this is done, let your child color in or put a sticker on the power outlet located on the back of the devotional. At the end of the week please sign as proof of completion and return to the PowerSource Information Center. Children who complete 3 weeks Power Cords in a month will have their picture posted in the foyer of Power Source and their name in the newsletter.

God expects us to be patient.

. . .be patient, bearing with one another in love. 4:2b

Ephesians

God promised Abraham and Sarah that they would have a son - their children would become a great and mighty nation. But Abraham and Sarah were old enough to be grandparents and had no children! For 20 years, they believed and waited on Gods promise to come to pass. When Abraham was 99 and Sarah was 89, they discovered that they were finally going to have a baby. She gave birth to a baby boy - they named him Isaac. Genesis 15:1-6, 21:1-8

Father God, I wait patiently for You. I trust You. I know You will do what You have promised. Thank you for your love, joy, peace and patience. Thank you for protecting those I love. May they be strong in You and the power of Your might. Thank you for teaching me to obey my parents so things will go well with me and I will live a long life on the earth. Forgive me when I forget to be patient. Help me to tell others about Your great love! Thank you that because of Jesus, I am healed and whole. In Jesus Name, Amen

Psalm 40:1 I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry. John 14:27 Jesus said, Peace I leave with you. . .do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
