THE AMAZING GREEKS

They were the greatest military masterminds in the history, attacked the Persian Empire and succeeded in many battles. Ancient Greeks were not just soldiers or army generals, they travelled many areas where is much difficult for ordinary people to go, creating paths through deadliest mountains, forests, hills, swamps and battling other great empires.

Gladiators, battlers, soldiers were the main titles for Greeks who were born as hunters but later become farmers and started civilization of Minoan and Mycenaean in about 1100 BC. Greece was divided into small city states, each of which consisted of a city and its surrounding countryside. Greece covered major parts of Europe and this nations people are spread all over the world since 500-336 BC.
As known for their rude attitude and famous bloody battles with Romans or Persians, they were hidden with awesome talent which can be seen through their temples, sculpture, pottery, artifacts and other archaeological findings; they did the discoveries of modern science, such as the integral calculus, through their studies of the areas and volumes of curved solid figures and the areas of

plane figures. Plus Measurement of the Circle, Spirals, and Sphere and Cylinder are their major inventions. Greek produced great heroes which includes Alexander the Great and Archimedes, and until now people remembers them the great ruthless soldiers of this world.
