Site Visit Gallipoli Barracks Brisbane, Department of Defence

Youre invited to join NAWIC, John Holland and the Department of Defence for a unique opportunity to see first hand the Department of Defences Enhanced Land Force Stage 2 Phase 2B (ELF2B), an $800 million building project at the Gallipoli Barracks at Enoggera, Brisbane. The ELF2B project includes upgrades, repairs and new site infrastructure as well as new buildings to enhance Defence capabilities and efficiencies in operational delivery. The new buildings will accommodate the re-raised 8th/9th Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment. The project commenced in 2010 and is due for completion in 2014. The project is being delivered by Managing Contractor John Holland on behalf of the Department of Defence. All attendees must have a current government-issued ID (drivers license, passport etc) to be eligible to access the Barracks. Closest public transport is Enoggera Railway Station on the Ferny Grove line (approximately 15 min walk from the station to the Pass Office).
