A shakeout will surely ensue as dentists and radiologists sign in with preferences. i-CAT has a clear lead in market share. We note the spread of CBCT to other diagnostic regimes, notably breast imaging. Clinical results strongly support improved tumor detection and precise location in 3D space when pendulous breasts are painlessly scanned with CBCT.
