Date: April Child: Najma Teacher: Natasha (Head Teacher) As part of the Tui group exploring Allahs bounties

and blessings with Teacher Maysoon, some of our kiwi group friends joined their friends and siblings exploring our vegetable garden. Najma went over to say hello to sister Amal when she spotted her with Teacher Maysoon in the garden. Najma listened carefully, nodding to the discussion about Allahs bounties and blessings of foods. They then explored the vegetables and herbs using all senses and discussing the different tastes, scents, textures and shapes! As they started picking herbs and vegetables, Najma

noticed a snail and decided we needed to find a way to protect the snail, it was agreed we would take it inside to care for it.

Review of learning Today Najma, you further extended links between home, mosque and school through listening to Teacher Maysoon discuss Allahs bounties and blessing. By taking an interest and being involved you were curious and trusting, wanting to learn more about this unfamiliar snail.
