WecreatedasafeenvironmentforpeopletospeakfreelyonthetopicofGBV.Those involvedinourfacilitationsharedprettydeepinsightsintothetopic Positivegroupdynamics.Weallworkedtogethertotryanddefinetheterminology surroundingGBVtothebestofourabilities. B.Whatwouldyouchangeifyouweretofacilitatethissessionagain?Choosethree thingsandprovidesomedetailsofwhatyouwoulddodifferently. Wewouldintroducethethreeterms(Power,Violence,andConsent)inabettercontext, ratherthanjustthrowingthemoutasindependentandunrelatedtermsforbrainstorming. Duringthebrainstormingsession,insteadoftwopeoplewritingdownideas(tryingto followeveryonesthoughts),wewouldassignonepersonforwriting,anotherperson couldrephraseandfurtherarticulatetheideas. Morecleardefinitionaboutthetermsinformedconsentandvoluntaryconsent. Assignonefacilitatortoeachofthesmallgroup,jointheirdiscussions,listentotheir thoughtsclosely,andfurtherleadtheirconversations.
